Horseback Riding
Buck Ridge Plantation is home to one of South Carolina’s largest all Paso Fino horse operations.
Originally bred by the Spanish more than 500 years ago, today Paso Fino horses are prized for their beauty, smooth gait, and stamina.
Guests of Buck Ridge Plantation have the opportunity to ride these fine horses through the woods and trails of the plantation, providing a wonderful opportunity to enjoy nature much like the Spanish conquistadors did centuries ago.
All rides are led by an experienced guide who will take guests along the black waters of the Edisto River, through hidden valleys and across open fields where deer are known to frequent. Saddle up and sit back for a ride of a lifetime.
